The Role
As a Production Operator, you’ll support the safe and efficient operation of HIP vessels, preparing, loading, operating and unloading equipment in line with written procedures and quality standards. You’ll complete production documentation accurately, support Goods In and Despatch activities, and work closely with Production, Maintenance and Quality teams to keep operations running smoothly.
You’ll also assist with general production activities, minor maintenance tasks and housekeeping, while ensuring suppliers, customers and drivers are dealt with professionally. You’ll be trained to operate new equipment and support additional HIP vessels as business needs develop.
This is a shift based role working shifts of 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am.
Who We’re Looking For
Good general education with strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
Experience working in a production, manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable.
Previous experience within heat treatment would be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures accurately.
Reliable, safety-conscious and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the flexibility to support different areas of production.
FLT and crane operating experience is desirable, although training can be provided.
Willingness to learn new equipment, processes and responsibilities as the needs of the business change.
Additional Relevant Experience
Experience operating industrial equipment, working with HIP vessels, or supporting Goods In and Despatch activities would be advantageous.

Location & Work Pattern
