The Role
As a Driver, you’ll be responsible for providing an efficient delivery and collection service while supporting general on-site operations. You will meet scheduled transport requirements, liaise with production and inspection teams to ensure smooth utilisation of vehicles, and guarantee the safe and dry transportation of customer components. Maintaining vehicles in a roadworthy and presentable condition, observing all relevant road traffic legislation, and ensuring paperwork and certifications are accurately presented for customer signatures are all key aspects of the role. When not driving, you will assist with on-site duties, uphold health, safety, and environmental procedures, comply with quality system requirements, and maintain excellent working practices and housekeeping. Acting as a primary point of contact for many customers, your professionalism, attitude, and appearance will play a crucial role in promoting the organisation’s image and delivering a first-class service.
Who We’re Looking For
Key essentials:
Full Class 2 driving licence (C1 category)
FLT licence preferred but not essential
Ability to work as part of a team
Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional attitude

Location & Work Pattern
This role is based in Chard, with on-site working expectations. Some travel may be required.
