The role:
IT Technical Services Engineer responsible for the daily management and support of the IT infrastructure across Bodycote’s global operations. It involves resolving incidents, maintaining systems, collaborating with international teams, and contributing to infrastructure improvement projects.
- Resolve IT incidents and service requests in line with ITIL processes and agreed service level
- Daily management and maintenance of infrastructure (AD, Group Policy, Servers, Storage, Backup, Email, Networking, Security, Remote Access, Thin Clients)
- Monitor system availability, capacity, and performance; apply patches and implement changes following change management procedures
- Work closely with global IT teams, supporting 3,400+ users across 155+ locations in multiple languages
- Participate in both new and ongoing IT projects focused on infrastructure upgrades and improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating as a 3rd line support or similar
- Strong technical background covering Active Directory, Exchange Online, Office 365, Azure Services, Remote Desktop and Terminal Services
- Strong experience with Microsoft, VMware and Cisco technologies
- Windows server 2003 through 2022
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN,WAN and Switches)
- Back up technologies, including cloud hosted services and on prem appliances
- Experience working with Cloud hosted IT Services
- Antivirus technologies
- Working knowledge of the ITIL framework
Nice to Have:
- ITIL Certified to Foundation Level
- Dell VxRail
- MCSE
- Nutanix
- Able to speak any other language than English used in other Bodycote locations.

- Open to travel as required – up to 20%
- A team player, comfortable working in diverse, cross-cultural settings and building strong, positive relationships
